SHARJAH, 4th June, 2025 (WAM) -- The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has announced a new project aimed at providing a reliable water supply in Tajikistan, as part of its charitable activities during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
This initiative will directly help 1,000 families in rural and mountainous areas who currently lack access to clean drinking water.
Khaled Hassan Al Ali, who leads Projects and External Aid at SCI, expressed the organisation's commitment to creating long-term solutions for communities in need.
He stated, "Our goal is to implement projects that make a lasting impact. The water network we're building in Tajikistan will be essential for these families, providing them with stability and support. This effort reflects the UAE's dedication to helping vulnerable communities and advancing global development. It is part of our continuous mission to ensure that people in drought-affected regions have access to clean water."
